LANIE LEE COOK
I’m an independent journalist covering autonomous weapons and related talks at the United Nations.
I focused on U.S. military action under the second Trump administration as an assignment editor in New York City. Before that, I spent several years covering law enforcement in South Louisiana and state and local news in the Denver metro.
I’ve written, produced or edited news since 2009 — for websites, newspapers, television and radio across breaking, enterprise and investigative formats. And I can code a bit.
Most of my writing and some of my TV productions are linked here. Here’s my code on GitHub.
While you’re here: Leave me a note on my speech recognition app.
